IB History HL / SL Mindlab has structured the following learning objectives for History HL and SL. Since we believe that each student has different learning requirements, please note that these are just general learning objectives, which are flexible depending on the student's needs. By the end of 4 months of tuition (at least 1 session per week), the student should be able to: 1. demonstrate the necessary skills for the course with ease and confidence: a. discussion of historical events b. interpretation, explanation and analysis of historical events c. writings skills in making a sustained argument within a given framework 2. improve quantitatively with the results of practice exam papers provided by the centre 3. acquire time-management skills and a disciplined study habit that would be beneficial for learning a. writing of notes for the topics in summary format b. submit assigned homework on time c. coming up with concept maps and mind maps to remember the various historical names, places, dates and events
